Tomica Initail-D Box Set 1 & 2

Here is my first set of Initial-D box set Vol. 1 & 4 and some picture of the car that I combine in this two set of cars. The vol.1 if I not mistaken, I brought for RM 80.
Brought it at this hobby shop at Indah Perade (Bulit Jalil) back in 2002. The shop owner is the one of the brother of nowadays XL shop at Time Square & Mid Valley. I found that shop because of 12" action figure that I'm collecting at that time. Brought some SDU set with him then. It is just before the animation movie is popular in Malaysia. Still remember I waiting the release of the movie in vcd format, each release is two chapter or a vcd and it take me almost 6 month to finish the first series. (AE86 win over the Red Sun FC)

Front view of the box.

Inside view after open it.

Back view of the box.

This is my first display case I brought for the Die cast car.
The sticker on the white Evo spoiler is stick on up side down, just like the movie car. still remember I ask the shop owner "why like that one. Is it a defect?"

At that time the movie is still on the first few battle. So I not sure when is AE 86 going to race with the Sileighty, another AE 86 turbo and the Land Evo.

WILD WILD WEST Collection

Got this two horse power wagon from MAJORETTE, made in France. It was found two weekend ago on a used toy seller. It come with some minor scratch on the wagon and small broken step on the wagon, but it is still like it.

I hope to find a wagoner to my wagon.

The wagon come with a case behind the wagon, which can be open.

Seem like the wagon is bigger the my 1/64 scale cars, but when I put it with my other cars it looks like the same scale. I have no idea which year it is made?

Display Rack For Die-cast Cars

This display rack is made up by some cheap shoe rack, which you can find it at most hyper market. The price is in between RM 15 to RM 35. This shoe rack come with two or more levels. Stick two or more level of the wooden rack together with tape or hot glue and it's make's a good display rack for cars. This rack can easily put up to 50 cars. For taller cars or truck you may need to look for wider gap shoe rack or place it on the top level or the bottom of the display rack. Hope you find this useful tips for displaying your cars. If you have others idea or ways to display the car better, do drop me some comment ya.

TRUCK Attack

Latest die-cast hunt is not on car's but on Truck. The truck is made for German market, brand is Schuco but some how end up in MY toy store. (check the wording on the trailer)

Schuco is a German toy maker founded in 1912 by Heinrich Müller and the businessman Heinrich Schreyer. Originally this company was named as Spielzeugfirma Schreyer & Co, but in 1921 the company changed the name to Schuco. For more detail on their products please visit http://www.schuco.de/uk/news.htm

I found this trucks from a local toys store on last Monday before Hari Raya and I went back on the Friday after Raya with a friend to check out the others truck but it is all been taken off. The supplier did say they will restock but it may take 2 - 3 month & maybe no longer available :(

This truck is more detail then some model that I already have, such as Matchbox & Majorette trucks. First of all the price.

This truck is selling at RM 5.90 each.

Detail area on the model : Truck head grill with chrome logo for each brand of the truck(NOT silver paint), printed words on some truck at the side & back, front & back lights, chrome rim & rubber looking tires and detail under the truck & trailer.

The Mercedes-Benz Actros is a heavy duty truck introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 1996. It is normally used for long-distance haulage, heavy duty distribution haulage and construction haulage. It is available in weights of 18 to 250 tonnes[citation needed] and is powered by a V6 or V8 cylinder engine with turbo and intercooler. Mercedes-Benz launched Actros II in 2002.

The real Mercedes-Benz launched Actros II

Check-out the detail of the trailers.

This truck is much detail then I thought until I open it up and remove the trailer from the truck.

The locking plate is movable for this Mercedes-Benz launched Actros II.
